” When I first started studying NVC last year, I participated in coaching classes with Aya Caspi. Her teaching style is hands on, authentic, and honest. She also does a wonderful job of building rapport among her students, encouraging collaboration and connection even outside of class hours. She is truly doing the work of peace building, which I find deeply inspirational. I have watched her in action through her videos, including her dialogue on the war in Gaza, her work with teachers and high school students, and her key role in helping increase emotional intelligence in children’s television programming by bringing compassionate communication into the dialogue. I have also taken her classes on Mediation and Restorative Peace Building. In every single class, I learned so much and saw my own capacity grow, to communicate in ways that are more connecting. Aya is and will always be my first teacher of NVC, and a lifelong mentor whose work has inspired me from the beginning of my journey. “
