” In class, Aya not only shared classic conflict resolution cases she has worked on, but also brought in vivid, real-life stories from her daily life—like conflicts with her husband, her son, or her neighbors. These personal examples were full of life and authenticity. Through them, I not only understood the step-by-step process of transforming conflict, but also saw the real impact of those steps in deepening and repairing relationships. Aya’s sharing made the learning feel alive and real.
What touched me most was how Aya responded to students’ questions—with honesty, authenticity, and full acceptance. She welcomed all feedback, even moments of tension or disagreement, with openness and care. Those moments deeply moved me. I value integrity between words and actions, and Aya showed me the difference between ‘teaching through instruction’ and ‘teaching through embodiment.’ She modeled the essence of NVC through how she lives and relates.
I am truly grateful to Aya for showing me what it looks like to live NVC in real life. I look forward to continuing this journey of learning with her. “
